If a Payment Method associated with your Subscription Fails one of two things will happen -
1. If the 'Enable Automatic Retry' option is turned on in your Authorize.Net Gateway:
When you Enable the Automatic Retry, Authorize.Net suspends ARB subscriptions if their most recent payment is declined. After you update the subscription’s payment information, we will automatically retry the most recent declined payment. We will retry the subscription automatically every night at 2 am while it still has billing occurrences left. ARB with Automatic Retry will never terminate your subscriptions due to delays in updating the subscription.
Check with your solution provider or web developer to confirm they do not attempt to manually recharge failed ARB transactions, to avoid potential double-billing.
This functionality once activated for your account, cannot be disabled.

2. If the Enable Automatic Retry option is not turned on:
If this feature is not turned on and your Subscription Fails when trying to process a charge, your Subscription will be placed into Suspension Mode until the payment method is updated . If you update the Payment Method before the next billing date, the Subscription will process on the next Scheduled Date as normal.
If you fail to update the Payment Method before the Billing date, the Subscription will terminate and you will have to set a new Recurring Schedule in MyEzPay.
Please remember that you will still need to collect for the Transaction that didn't process due to the failure.
